Last Saturday, I went to my friend, Amanda's baby shower. She is due to give birth January 16th! She is going to have a baby boy names Carter Owen Maestas. I am so excited to meet the newest edition to our family (her family is like my adopted family on the island). I made a scrapbook as my gift to the Maestas family. I had fun putting together the layout pages. Faith (my friend from Maryland) and I went early with Amanda to help auntie (Amanda's mother-in-law) set up the hall. I loved the decor that auntie made, she is so creative!
Her theme for the party decorations was "traditional Mexican baby shower." She went all out! Some of the cute art she made were: a diaper wreathe, chocolate peanut deserts, favors, necklaces, and center piece bouquet. She also made delicious Mexican food, I love her cooking! My favorite part, besides eating, was playing Mexican Bingo. The ladies around me were saying how the game is a good way to learn Spanish and have fun at the same time! The baby shower was a lovely success, we all had an amazing time. Congratulations Amanda and Caesar, my love and support goes out to your family!
I'm so excited for my new nephew to join us really soon,
Deanna
It was a heartfelt Traditional Mexican Baby Shower. Each and every photo is stunning. Thanks for the details. I also would be hosting the cute girly fairy baby shower for my cousin in the next month. Just booked one of the affordable LA venues and now it is the time to download some free printables for the DIY décor.
