San Francisco will always be my first home. The city is home to well known Mitchell's Ice Cream, Ghirardelli Chocolate, and Boudin Bakery. Some of the city's famous land marks are The Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and The Palace of Fine Arts. My favorite district is Haight Ashbury, the art community where the hippie movement started back in the 60's. Every time I come back to visit, my time is always limited. Which can be overwhelming sometimes, since there is never enough time to see or hang out with everyone. Other then that, my stays are always filled with warm welcomes, gifts, feasts, and quality time with my friends and family. I am so thankful for my support system, I love them all so much!

Urban art in Downtown fascinates me.
Yesterday, Cookie and I went for a walk around the neighborhood.
Last night, my cousin and I went to Buca Di Beppo for dinner. On the way we came across this artsy canvas piece. My cousin asked me what I thought this painting meant. As I glared through the window display, I felt an automatic connection. I told her how the girl in the painting seems lost, but keeps warm from the book she holds. I noticed how the girl is looking in a different direction away from the couple in the red box. Red represents "passion."
The couple is looking in the opposite direction from the girl. The girl hasn't experienced true love yet, which is why she is outside of the box. She isn't completely covered, her tummy is showing, a part of her is vulnerable and curious to experience this feeling that most of her friends and family tell her about. So, she stands tall and stays positive, hoping one day love will find her. Until then she continues to discover love in all areas of her life on her beautiful journey.
